Creating a Safer School for Children

By Marlize Adair | Director of Philanthropy and Communications

Thanks to your compassion and generosity, work continues to strengthen this school and create a safer, more dependable place for children to learn.

The school’s infrastructure requires significant attention, including roof replacement and other essential facility improvements. Addressing these concerns is important for protecting children and teachers from unsafe conditions and severe weather.

Although more work remains, donor support is moving the project forward and bringing the school closer to providing the secure learning environment every child deserves.

Improving Safety and Stability

A safe classroom gives children the freedom to focus on learning rather than worrying about leaking roofs, damaged facilities, or disruptions caused by poor weather.

The planned improvements will strengthen classroom conditions and create spaces that are safer, more functional, and better suited to the daily needs of students and teachers.

Supporting Children’s Education

The impact of these improvements extends beyond the school’s physical structures. A more secure and reliable facility will allow lessons and activities to continue with fewer interruptions, giving children greater consistency in their education.

Strengthening the school will also increase its ability to serve more children in a community where quality educational opportunities are limited.

Continuing the Work

The project’s ongoing priorities include:

  • Completing the necessary roof replacement and structural repairs
  • Improving the safety and functionality of classrooms
  • Strengthening the school’s capacity to serve additional children
  • Creating a dependable learning environment for current and future students

Each contribution moves this work forward.

Thank you for investing in a school where children can feel protected, concentrate on their education, and develop the skills they need for the future.
