As TEV, we remain deeply grieved by the earthquake that hit Kahramanmaras and the surrounding 11 provinces. We offer our heartfelt condolences to all our citizens who have lost their lives in this disaster, and we hope for the speedy recovery to tens of thousands who remain critically wounded. Lastly, we'd like ensure all our supporters that we will do our part in the aftermath of this disaster by prioritizing a sustainable plan to secure the continuity of the education of students.
Tens of thousands have been lost, and many are injured by two devastating earthquakes that struck south-eastern Turkey. The earthquake affected 11 provinces, and a vast population has faced many problems regarding meeting their fundamental needs in these regions. On the other hand, there are some negative consequences of such disasters on the continuity of education of students.
Turkish Education Foundation is a non-governmental organization that provides scholarships for Turkish students. As the Turkish Education Foundation, we work to keep our students in school. To contribute to the solution of the problem, we strive to support students financially. With the support of you, the donors, it is aimed to continue to help students who are affected by the earthquake financially to enable them to continue their education.
