We are excited to report that after further discussions with the communities over the past three months the villagers in Abu Nahla village have now formally requested KIDS FOR KIDS to provide a kindergarten in their village and have verbally expressed their willingness to participate in the project as required including providing the majority of the labour to construct the building. Our Programme Manager is in the process of drawing up the formal agreement and once this has been signed by the Abu Nahla Village Development Committee we will be able to begin implementing the project which will be a very exciting day as this is a new initiative for KIDS FOR KIDS. Discussions are continuing with the other two villages which have expressed interest in being part of our pilot project to provide kindergartens for the villages which we support in Darfur and we hope that these two villages will come on stream for implementation in 2013.
