On behalf of the African Impact Foundation, thank you for supporting the Langoni Old People's Home!
It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the news that two of our beloved Wazee members sadly passed on at the end of last year. Many staff, volunteers, community members, and fellow residents gathered at the funeral to celebrate the lives of these wonderful two people who brought smiles and laughter to many.
We have set up a medical fund to raise money that can be used in case of emergencies to provide the necessary treatment and medication needed to keep the residents of the home as healthy as possible.
The physiotherapist conducts health check-ups and there are times where further medical attention is needed for residents and unfortunately, it is sometimes difficult for the Director of the home to get the funding needed quickly enough to follow up on these health concerns.
For some of the residents, not getting the medication and treatment they need in a timely manner can be life threatening.
