The progress of our fundraising project at Langoni Home for the Elderly has gone from strength to strength recently! We have successfully started the build and have built approximately 90% of the wall. The residents are so delighted to see the progress and they keep telling us to pass on their thanks to all donors!
We have also successfully installed 2 sets of iron gates at both entrances to the centre. This means vehicles can still pass through the centre when needed but that at night the gates are closed and the whole compound is secured.
We continue to bring fresh fruit on our visits and to continue to help out with medical expenses and funerals costs when needed. We recently paid for a blood sugar testing machine for one of the residents who has diabetes. This machine allows Hadija to monitor her blood sugar every day.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all of our donors so far! We and all of the residents of Langoni Elderly Home are so appreciative for the support. We’re delighted to be so close to finishing this project and to having safe adopted grandparents at last!
