The wall has been completed and the residents at the Elderly Home are now safe! We also did some major tree pruning so that branches in the wind will not disturb the structure! We want to make sure this wall keeps the residents safe and happy for a long time!
We have also started to look into our next area of focus. As well as supplying medicine and transport to the hospital we have recently also looked into refurbishing the rooms of the home. The rooms have no mosquito gauze, have broken doors and no ceiling boards to keep the residents warm in the winter. All donations, big and small can contribute to making the elderly home a better place for these wonderful people to grow old in.
Last month, we also contributed medicine to one of the residents who suffered a fall. Every small donation makes a massive impact in the elderly home. Something as small as $10 can buy medicine or provide safe transport to the hospital.
Many thanks to those who have donated so far, there are not enough words to show our appreciation.
