On April 10, we concluded our first term at USAP Community School. This term has been filled with notable achievements. Our students have continued to excel academically while also engaging in a range of extracurricular activities, including the Model African Union, the National Institute of Allied Arts competitions, Zimbabwe National Science Fair, Cross Country, Archery and more. With Regular Decision admissions, we finished an incredible admissions season with 27 students receiving over $8 million in scholarships to enroll at top colleges and universities in the United States, Italy and the United Kingdom including first time USAPCS scholarships at Oxford, Bocconi University, and Princeton.
At this year's Zimbabwe National Science Fair, USAP Community School proudly presented 14 outstanding projects earning two silver medals, two gold medals, and three special awards. Two of our students have been awarded the prestigious Young Scientists for Africa (YOSA) scholarship to attend the London International Youth Science Forum this July. In the arts, we had a total of twelve melodious entries for the 2025 Vocal and Instrumental (Eisteddfod) music festival at the National Institution of Allied Arts competitions. A USAPella ensemble won the 2025 African Voice Cup selected from 2,000 overall entries. We are especially proud that four students, accompanied by our Head of School, traveled to Nairobi, Kenya, to represent USAPCS at a three day Yale Model African Union conference held at United States International University (USIU). In sports two USAPCS students have qualified for the Zimbabwe national archery team.
This first term has been a testament to the hard work and determination of our scholars and faculty. We are confident that our students will emerge well prepared to take advantage of the opportunities that top international university education presents.Thank you for your continued support and investing in their education !
