For over 30 years, women from Wisconsin and Nicaragua have been working together on ways to provide women living in Nicaragua further opportunities to improve themselves, their families, and overall quality of life. Recently, thanks to this Global Giving opportunity, more people can join in expanding these opportunities. The single (so far) and most recent donor for this project, helped to make this workshop below possible: Direct from Nicaragua July 14 – “We started the workshop on repair and maintenance of sewing machines to 5 women and one boy who will be supporting his grandma´s Learning Center. We count on Sandra’s great help (see Sandra's history with us and testimony in attachments below photos). She will be getting a little stipend, plus lunch per day. I know she does this to help out our project. Having as many well trained women in repairing sewing machines will be a great relief on us. Hope you´re doing well! Here´s some pictures……” - Isabel
