Dear Donors and supporters
Here at LGBT Voice Tanzania and LGBT youth sponsorship fund want to share our profound appreciation for the donations that have kept this project running and our youth attending training. We thank and recognize the effort each and every one of our donors have made; thanks to all of you we have raised $2,640 sor far.
At this point our first four LGBT youth have been sponsored and are attending training. One of the youth is doing great in a designing and decoration field, he will graduated in December but he has started making clothes and decorating halls for ceremonies. His work is the best we have ever seen in the gay community.
There's progress, but much remains to be done, because we have just started and only four youth out of 32 identified have been sponsored, this creates a great need for raising more funds to meet the needs of the remaining 28 youth. But also we have to know that Homophobia and transphobia is at increase and many youth are being renounced and kicked out of their families, making them homeless and more vulnerable. According to our findings, when they youth are homeles, do not go to school, and have no support, they become hopeless and start enging in unsafe sex, drug aduse, steeling and committing suicide.
Please continue standing with us in this and help us build the future of out LGBT youth, they need good education and skills so that they can live a better life and become leaders of this nation in the future.
Thanks for your continued support.
