We have been fundraisng for the past year to be able to buy the facilities that we are currently based on and continue providing support to more than 250 children and adults in a community in high social risk in San José, Costa Rica.
The cost of the property was $200.000 and the due date to purchese the property according to the owners was January 31 st 2017. The reason we needed to buy it was beacuse the rent contact ended and the owners did not want to reneue it.
We were able to fund raise $90,000 in two months through different campains, activities, and people who belived in the project. However we were still missing $110,000. Therfore we were able to find a friendly loan at a 5% year rate intrest and WERE ABLE TO BUY THE PROPERTY last week!!!
However, the loan is only for a six moth period, now we have to keep on going and fundraise to be able to pay back the loan by July 2017.
