The Literacy Program for 500 Children in Kano State is currently in its early fundraising stage. Out of the total budget of $25,000, no funds have been received yet, and there are currently no monthly donors contributing to the project. This means 100% of the funding target is still outstanding.
Since financial support is yet to be secured, project implementation activities such as recruitment of facilitators, procurement of learning materials, and classroom setup have not commenced. Preparatory planning, including curriculum structuring and community engagement strategy, is ongoing in anticipation of incoming donations.
Once funding begins, resources will be immediately allocated toward training educators, establishing small-group learning sessions, and distributing literacy materials to ensure timely rollout. Continuous monitoring and transparent financial reporting will be maintained to ensure accountability and measurable impact as the project progresses.
