During November and December, we carried out the Fiesta de la Esperanza Christmas project at The Plaza El Jubileo sports center of Compensar , where 200 families who receive our help joined us to celebrate Christmas. We had a wonderful day, full of surprises, games, contests, snacks, music, lunch and gifts for the patients and their siblings. A nativity scene contest was also held, in which the 6 best nativity scenes were awarded with vouchers to buy food. The event was broadcasted on 2 very important news programs that highlighted the spirit and solidarity of the entire community, including GlobalGiving.
To those children who could not attend because they were hospitalized, the Sanar Foundation sent their gifts.
These first months of the year, we have dedicated ourselves to getting the school supplies that the children need to continue their studies.
