We hope you are all enjoying the start of fall. If you’re in a climate similar to Chicago, we wish you an easy transition into cooler weather.   

Here in Chicago, you may have noticed a pink glow to the city as we have begun Breast Cancer Awareness month! We are right in the middle of our Seventh Annual Chicago’s In Good Taste Campaign, which has brought together over 160 restaurant, hotel, spa, salon, and retail partners in Chicagoland! Our partners are committed to raising funds for The Lynn Sage Foundation by promoting special food, drink, or other specials throughout the month. One of the best ways to get involved and support our mission to fund breast cancer researchers and eventually find a cure for breast cancer, no matter where you live, is to send one of our Cards for a Cure to a loved one. We have cards for all occasions on our website and your friends will love that the card is helping to support breast cancer research!

We are getting ready for CHILL: An International Culinary and Wine Event, which will take place at the Merchandise Mart on November 13. CHILL brings together some of the hottest chefs and wine distributors for a huge event in the LuxeHome showroom. Tickets may be purchased by clicking here. At CHILL, we will have a silent auction that will feature some great items including generous donations from several of our national partners: Shabby Chic, HandCraft Artisan Collection Wines, Donna Karan New York, and many more!

Dr. Jain, our current Lynn Sage Scholar, is continuing her clinical trial that investigates immunotherapy as a complimentary approach for eliminating breast cancer and we will continue to work tirelessly to raise the funds necessary to fund her work. Hi Everyone,

We hope everyone is having a relaxing and fun summer so far!

We had a successful and busy start to our summer with many events surrounding Mother’s Day. Our With Mom 4 Mom fitness events boasted a variety of workouts to raise money for our cause, including crossfit, yoga, pilates, barre, spinning, and much more! We had such a great response to the Mother’s Day fitness classes that we decided to continue the campaign by holding one class per month for the rest of the year. Please save the date for our upcoming fitness classes on August 27 at Rock Solid Fitness and September 13 at Pure Barre River North. Details can be found on our website.

On Friday, May 16, The Lynn Sage Foundation Associate Board hosted their second annual Summer Toast at The Underground. Over 200 young professionals came out for the event which featured a Summer Toast specialty cocktail, appetizers, raffle items, and resident DJ’s. The event raised over $17,000 for local breast cancer researchers!

As summer starts to wind down, we are busy preparing for our Seventh Annual Chicago’s In Good Taste this October! We already have over 60 restaurants committed to raising funds for The Lynn Sage Foundation by promoting special food and drink items throughout the month.
