Dear Donors,
We are really advancing very well at The Therapeutic Garden. Phase one is over now. From September to November 2024, we had the contracted organization come to our place and do the co-thinking seminars together with 8 of out professionals. These sessions are prepared to undertake the difficult task to decide what the garden should include, depending on the patient’s profile. We had three of the co-working and brainstorming sessions, until everyone was happy with the results. The final project was presented and approved by the Foundation´s direction. Attached we send you the picture!
These days we are in phase two: implementation. Workers have been hands-on in the garden, clearing the ground, creating the designs and paths that follow the approved plan, putting gravel, soil, irrigation, fountains, etc..
It is still cold in Madrid, so trees and plants will best be planted in a few weeks, but all the other necessary elements for the garden have already been ordered and are arriving little by little.
We are all very excited to have this new therapeutical garden and we want to thank you for helping us make it come true. We know many kids will benefit from it, and many other adults with mental problems too.
We hope you will still help us continue!
