The last two years we have worked hard on a controlled clinical trial to demonstrate the effectiveness of our program to protect and strengthen the mental wellbeing of our healthcare providers, and we have very promising preliminary results! We found positive and statistically significant changes in well-being, anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, as well as improvements in the socio-emotional competencies of the participants.
The Executive Director of the Bioethics Commission of the State of Campeche had this to say after participating in our program:
I think that all the sessions have been magnificent, and I very happy with them. It is a very valuable teaching. I hope it reaches all medical professionals, healthcare centers and the whole system, it is so very useful!
We hope to continue to grow and reach more healthcare professionals to fulfill those wishes! Thanks to your generous donations, a grant from the Templeton World Charity Foundation, and the support of the state governments of Coahuila, Nuevo León, Queretaro, Campeche, Jalisco, Sonora and Oaxaca, this program has been extended to participants from the Red Cross in Saltillo, Teleton Children's Hospital of Oncology, and nursing and medicine students from the Autonomous University of Coahuila, the University of Sonora, the College of Tec Salud and the SIMI Foundation.
Thank you for your continuing to support the mental wellbeing of the medical professionals who take care of us when we need them the most!
