Surprising, it seems as though the boys and girls are waiting for us to provide them with strategies beyond the merely academic; and since these are specific actions, clearly explained beforehand, they show interest, participate well, and conflicts among students have decreased.

—Teacher Dominga Alicia Moreno

Teacher Dominga’s testimony is one of over 14,000 direct beneficiaries so far in 2025, thanks to the growth of the program. We have renewed agreements in Campeche and Yucatán, and soon in Quintana Roo, ensuring the continuation of the programs through 2027.

Your donation has made it possible for more than 14,000 educators to participate in Educating for Wellbeing (EpB), a program that strengthens the socioemotional competencies of those who lead and teach, planting the seeds for a new way of learning and living together in school culture.

With an evidence-based, sustainable, scalable, and systemic approach, EpB is already leaving its mark by driving cross-cutting change. In partnership with Education Secretariats, it has transformed educators, empowering them through their ability to know themselves, regulate their emotions, build healthy relationships, and model and teach wellbeing—impacting every student, family, and corner of the community.

“How do I really feel today?” is one of the first questions Marisela, a preschool principal, asks herself. It allows her to pause and learn to listen to herself. And in doing so, she begins to listen to others differently.

Today, her school, along with 25,000 others, breathes with its leaders.

Teachers, boys, and girls learn to build community from wellbeing.

Dominga and Marisela are examples of our achievements in 2025. At AtentaMente, we continue to promote wellbeing as a skill that can be developed in every individual, transforming urban and rural communities, including Maya-speaking indigenous populations.

Notable improvements in emotional regulation and educational self-efficacy, as well as reductions in anxiety and depression, are among the results.

Thank you for making this transformation possible with every donation!
