Dear friends
Elizabeth Barrett Browning famously wrote “How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.”
In Missionvale, we have to ask “how do we thank thee?” Let’s count the ways:
I have attached two articles that were published in our local newspaper, The Herald, in December last year. It highlights the plight of the poor in Missionvale, and we hope that by reading it you will take great comfort in knowing that you have played an active part in reaching out to those who need it most.
We are infinitely grateful to you, and no matter how many ways we find to thank you, it will never be enough to convey what we feel in our hearts!
With love and gratitude from all of us in Missionvale.
PS: We are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year. A milestone that would not have been reached if it were not for people like you who believe in our cause! In honour of Sr Ethel Normoyle’s incredible journey, we will be sharing one memory every week on our Facebook page – www.facebook.com/missionvale We invite you to “like and follow” the page!
