We are so grateful to you for your ongoing support. The contributions we receive from each individual is incredibly precious to us, and it is because of you that we are able to keep going amidst very difficult economic times.
Our country has been hard hit by fuel increases and electricity rate hikes. The effects of this on the poor is very evident in the queue outside our nutrition unit, and the anxiety and desperation etched on the faces of the elderly, and sadly, even on the children is very worrying.
Your donations are therefore more needed than ever before and are making a huge impact. Every food parcel we are able to purchase extends and improves a life, and restores some hope.
There are so many success stories we can share with you. There is *Nikita, a young lady determined to finish her schooling. She lives with her grandmother and works hard going to extra classes on the weekend. In June she will write her exams. Because of your contributions, we are able to provide basic food for her enabling her to concentrate on studying. Because of you, the worry of where her next meal would come from is not crippling her potential.
On behalf of the many Nikita’s in this township, thank you for your continued kindness and generosity. For many, just knowing that someone cares enough to contribute, is fuel to keep going another day.
