Mobile Breast Cancer Screening Clinics
By Selina Kwame | Project Director
Dear Supporters,
Our Mobile Breast Cancer Screening Clinics project is focused on bringing early detection services directly to communities across Ghana, especially in rural and underserved areas where access to healthcare facilities is limited. Many women face barriers such as distance, cost, and lack of awareness, which often leads to late detection of breast cancer and reduced treatment success rates.
Through this initiative, we are working to provide mobile screening services that include breast health education, basic clinical examinations, and referrals for further diagnosis when needed. These outreach efforts are helping increase awareness and promote early detection, which is critical for improving survival rates.
With ongoing donations received, we are able to expand our outreach to more communities and reach women who would otherwise not have access to screening services. We remain committed to saving lives through early detection and timely care. Thank you for helping ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
With sincere appreciation,
Adjah Cancer Support Ghana

Mobile Breast Cancer Screening Clinics

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, Adjah Cancer Support Ghana has made meaningful progress on the Mobile Breast Cancer Screening Clinics project. During this reporting period, we successfully conducted mobile screening outreach activities in underserved communities, providing free breast cancer education and basic screening services to women who otherwise lack access to early detection.
Our team worked closely with community leaders and health professionals to raise awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection, self-examination, and timely medical care. Several women identified with warning signs were referred to nearby health facilities for further evaluation and follow-up care.
This project is helping to break barriers to breast cancer screening, reduce fear through education, and promote early diagnosis, which can significantly improve survival rates. We are deeply grateful to our supporters for making this impact possible and look forward to reaching even more communities in the next phase of the project.
Together, we are ensuring that no woman faces breast cancer alone.
