Classrooms of Light: Igniting Young Dreams

Education is every child’s doorway to opportunity, dignity, and a brighter future. Yet, for many children from low-income families in Pakistan, the absence of basic school supplies, such as uniforms, shoes, books, and bags, creates barriers that prevent them from attending school with confidence.

Through Classrooms of Light, Moses Welfare Foundation is working to ensure that no child is left behind because of poverty.

Activities & Progress

• School Kits Distribution: 12 children have already received complete school kits, including uniforms, shoes, school bags, books, and stationery.
• Community Outreach: We engaged parents, teachers, and community leaders to identify children most in need. Teachers confirm that supported students are now more confident and participative in class.
• Awareness Campaigns: Local sessions encouraged families to keep children enrolled in school, highlighting the power of education to break cycles of poverty.

• Funds Raised to Date: $34
• Remaining Need: $1,967
• Expenditure: 100% of funds raised so far were used to procure and distribute school kits. Each kit costs approximately $16,18 per child.
• Accountability: All donations are strictly allocated to project expenses, with records maintained and audited for transparency.

Challenges

• Limited Funding: Current resources have allowed only partial fulfillment of our vision.
• Rising Supply Costs: Inflation increases the cost of uniforms and school supplies.
• Awareness Gap: More donor engagement is needed to reach our goal of supporting 100 children.

So far, 12 children’s dreams have been lit with hope, but 88 more are still waiting. In just 8 months, we have raised $34 of our $2,000 goal. With your support, we can provide every child with the dignity of learning, the tools to succeed, and the confidence to pursue their dreams.
