Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT) needs to raise 50,000 so our young musicians can keep making music. This year we have been OVERWHELMED with requests for financial assistance towards music lessons. PLEASE HELP BYMT to keep making music - we want to make sure EVERY child has the opportunity to play a musical instrument or sing in a choir. We know MUSIC CHANGES LIVES . Now, more than ever before, the benefits of music are essential for the future wellbeing of our young people.
Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT) believes that ALL children, young people and the wider community should benefit from the enriching and transformative power of music and that those facing the biggest barriers should receive the most support. The current Cost of Living crisis has affected many families and this year BYMT has received an unprecedented number of applications for financial assistance with music lessons. We HAVE to raise funds to meet this demand and fulfill our vision.
By raising 50,000 UK pounds we will be able to meet the demand for financial assistance that we have received so far this year and offer financial relief for music lessons to over 200 children. BYMT has been providing music services to schools in the London Borough of Bromley and the local community - and beyond - for over thirty years and we have never before seen this number of applications for financial help. MUSIC CHANGES LIVES and there is real evidence of this.
