Once again Thank You for supporting our Nurses for Night Care programme. Without you or people like you we would not be able to provide nursing care, practical help and reassurance to both patients and their families in their own homes. This ensures that families are supported during these very difficult days.
For the first eleven months of 2016, 547 people and their families were helped with this service and we provided 1,829 nights of care. The Irish Hospice Foundation has been providing this service for over ten years and the demand continues to grow. The number of referrals since its inception has grown 89%. We have come a long way since our founding and it is thanks to the continued support of our donors we have been able to continue our vital work. Our objective is to ensure that everyone who wants to die at home throughout Ireland is granted their final wish.
If you would like to receive further information on our Nurses for Night Care programme, please do get in touch at info@hospicefoundation.ie.
THANK YOU!

This year our Nurses for Night Care programme is celebrating its 10th year and The Irish Hospice Foundation’s 30th anniversary. We have come a long way since our founding and thanks to your support and the support of people like you; we have been able to continue our vital work. Our objective is to ensure that everyone who wants to die at home throughout Ireland is granted their final wish.
Our Nurses for Night Care programme enables a nurse to stay in the home throughout the night, providing nursing care, practical help and reassurance to both patient and family. This service gives significant support for families at what can be a very difficult time. On behalf of all the families in need of this vital service – thank you. So far in 2016 we have received 581 referrals from all across Ireland and we have delivered 1,212 nights of care.
Whilst this is an ongoing service, we view each person we care for as an individual and hope to raise enough money to provide support for everyone who needs our help. If you would like to receive further information on our Nurses for Night Care programme, please do get in touch at info@hospicefoundation.ie.
THANK YOU!

This year our Nurses for Night Care programme is celebrating its 10th year. We have come a long way in the past decade thanks to your support and the support of people like you, who have enabled us to continue this vital service. Our objective is to ensure that everyone who wants to die at home throughout Ireland is granted their final wish.
So far in 2016 we have had 414 referrals across Ireland and we have delivered 1,066 nights of care. We are only halfway through the year and already we have provided 60% of last year’s total number of nights (1,734). The increase in demand is stretching our resources, and we expect to have at least another 450 requests this year. On behalf of all the families in need of this vital service – thank you.
Whilst it is an ongoing service, we view each person we care for as an individual and hope to raise enough money to provide support for everyone who needs our help. If you would like to receive further information on our Nurses for Night Care programme, please do get in touch at info@hospicefoundation.ie.
