OUR PROJECT IS EXPANDING

Donates have been increased after TEDx talk which I was invited to tell our ODTÜ GELECEGIMIZ Project to 3.500 audiences.110 new donors are in the project now.Almost 10.000 people are interested in and have watched the video of my speech.During last 3 months the scholarship holders who vere graduated on July 2016 seek a job and the donors help them and most of them get some positions in the firms.This year 225 students will hold scholarships that’s why we are determining scholarship holders among the candidates.2 new graduates ,Miss Gizem got the MBA acceptance from Polytechnic University in Italy,and Miss Cansu from Linnaeus University In Sweden.Both of them are supported financially by the Project.

You can find the expressions of Miss Cansu who was scholarship holder and graduated from Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences below;

''I believe that relations which you are built are own real assets. The relations that I have built thanks to the project have opened new doors. The project have not only supported me in financial terms, but also supported in intangible terms. I have met people having different backgrounds and great experiences in business world. I have expanded my horizon. I have found a chance to recognize my talents, special gifts as well. Moreover, I have learned how I can make dreams real, how I am capable to do the best. As a result of point that I have mentioned, I have become a socially intelligent person. Above all, I have gained a guiding vision that I have shaped my future and nowadays, thanks to this vision, I am studying Leadership and Management in International Context at Linnaeus University. As I mentioned at the beginning, relations are our real assets and I believe that these relations will shape my working life and future in a good way as they have shaped my present. ''

CANSU

Also Mr.Ogün was scholarship holder and graduated from Faculty of Engineering as an Industrial Engineer,says that

''Hi, my name is Ogün. I met TEV when I was a second year Industrial Engineering student at Middle East Technical University. I was a scholarship student for 3 years from 2013 to 2016. In the beginning, it was just a well-paid scholar for me which is given according to success and lack of financial power criteria. However, throughout those 3 years, I noticed the main difference between TEV and an ordinary scholarship organization is TEV’s attitude towards students while an ordinary organization provides scholars but does not help students with their career path or social identity. I have attended various events with other students, graduates and donators held by TEV. In those events, the main idea was that providing a scholar is good but not enough, you need to provide something more such as guidance and mentorship. As an example, I had a summer practice opportunity at Deloitte Turkey. After a successful summer period, now I am working as a consultant at Deloitte Turkey. I always wanted to be a part of TEV as a “giver”. It can be giving “scholar”, giving “support”, giving “a warm talk” or giving my “professional experience”. Few days ago, this became true and now I am proud to say that I help students in need by providing not only scholar but also my modest experience and guidance. Also, about 2 weeks ago, I was informed that Deloitte and Apple announced a partnership to accelerate mobile solutions in the US. It was a pleasant coincidence since I am a member of both Deloitte and TEV. Overall, I want to congratulate Apple and TEV for creating this unique value. I hope this meaningful bond makes an impact.
