The Power of One Egg | Q3 2025 Feedback Report
In September, as the academic season commences, brimming with fresh aspirations, our "Egg Supermen" have punctually resumed their mission. We believe that a daily egg transcends the mere provision of protein; it is the delivery of tender companionship. This seemingly modest force, in concert with the dawn of a new semester, is quietly beginning to flourish.
From September to October, an egg project supported 932 schools, providing each of the 105,231 teachers and students with an egg every school day, consuming a total of 4,422,517 eggs over two months!
Project Data (September to October 2025 Summary)
Coverage Area 8 provincial administrative regions, 5 partner institutions
Execution Scale: 42 first-line public welfare institutions | 932 schools | 105231 beneficiaries (students + staff)
Quarterly Total Distribution: 4,422,517 eggs
Stories About the Eggs:
"At the End of the Mountain Road Lies the Smiling Faces of Children" — Heqing County Sunshine Social Development Service Center — Heqing County Kangfu Kindergarten
That day, we drove along the winding mountain road. On one side was a bottomless cliff, on the other a verdant hillside. Warning signs at the bends constantly reminded us of speed limits, and tension and anxiety mingled in our hearts. But we didn't back down at all, because at Kangfu Kindergarten, a group of children were eagerly awaiting this warm gift.
As soon as the car entered the kindergarten courtyard, the buzzing of the kitchen steamer reached our ears. Eggs unfurled in the steam, like tiny lives awakened. The children were already lined up, their little faces rosy and their eyes bright. After receiving the eggs, they gathered around the table, peeling them in various ways: some gently tapped them with the corner of the table, the shells crumbling; others held the peeled eggs up to the sunlight, the egg white translucent, like holding soft clouds. "Look, my yolk is huge!" "My egg smells amazing!" Laughter and the aroma of eggs filled the classroom, sunlight dappling the corners of their mouths, still glistening with egg crumbs. A little girl with pigtails took a bite, her eyes crinkling into crescents: "It smells even better than the ones at home!"
This egg, hatched by a farm hen, was packed and loaded onto a truck by volunteers before dawn, enduring hours of bumpy travel to reach the child. It witnessed the hustle and bustle of the city and the warmth of rural life, finally becoming a "little sun" in the child's heart, still warm from their hands.
The setting sun painted the windowsills red, and children, clutching stickers, ran out of the classroom. The warmth of the egg was etched into their skipping steps. Would you like to join this heartwarming journey? Let kindness, like sunshine, illuminate every place in need!
