One Meal, One Hope: Feeding Brick Kiln School Children
Project Summary
"One Meal, One Hope" is a humanitarian initiative designed to provide daily nutritious meals to children studying in informal hut schools located in Pakistan’s brick kiln communities. These children come from families living in extreme poverty, often trapped in bonded labor, and many attend school on an empty stomach.
The project aims to ensure that at least one healthy meal is provided each school day, improving children’s nutrition, strengthening their ability to learn, and encouraging regular school attendance. By addressing hunger, this initiative supports both immediate well-being and long-term educational outcomes.
Problem Statement
Thousands of children in brick kiln areas face chronic hunger due to their families’ extremely low income, often less than $2 per day. As a result:
Without addressing basic nutritional needs, access to education alone is not sufficient to create lasting change.

Funding Need & Call to Action
Significant funding is still required to sustain and expand this effort. We invite:
Every contribution directly provides meals and supports a child’s right to education and a better future.
Conclusion
"One Meal, One Hope" is more than a feeding program; it is a strategic intervention that addresses hunger as a barrier to education. By nourishing children today, we are investing in a stronger, more equitable future.
Together, we can ensure that no child is forced to learn on an empty stomach.
