Date Set for Uganda 2017

By Lizzy Rainey | Special Projects Coordinator

Aloha Fruit Tree lovers,

The  FTPF team is hard at work launching our new nurseries at our local headquarters here on the Big Island of Hawaii. We will be bringing thousands and thousands of beautiful tropical fruit trees to the islands in the coming months and years, but first we need to build our infastructure (if you want to help with this project, we are currently running a micro-project to help fund our nurseries!)

In other news, we have set a date for Uganda 2017! We will be returning for the fourth consecutive year to the Jinja district April 2-12, 2017. We are inviting volunteers to join us on this incredible eco-safari, which includes twice daily tree-planting events, local food and hospitality, beautiful hotel and accomadations, and to top it all off a safari and chimp-tracking epidition up in the northern part of the country. For more information, please email lizzy@ftpf.org, or follow us on Instagram and Facebook for regular updates.

Mahalo for your support, and as always, keep on planting!
