Receiving warm, comfy pajamas in Comfort Cases along with other comfort, hygiene and educational items brings smiles to the faces of children in foster care! Too often, kids in foster care arrive in new foster homes with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Having a few new things to call their own and appropriate luggage in which to carry their belongings makes a real difference in the lives of these vulnerable children, providing them with dignity and hope at a time when they are experiencing considerable stress and uncertainty. Comfort Cases, Inc. aims to ensure that all children in foster care feel loved, supported and valued by their communities.
Since its inception, Comfort Cases has served over 250,000 youth in foster care by providing them with Comfort Cases and/or Comfort XL duffels. In 2024, the distribution goals are 45,000 Comfort Cases and 25,000 Comfort XLs. So far in 2024, 2,697 sets of pajamas have been distributed. Here's the breakdown by state:

These pajamas go a long way toward helping kids in foster care get a good night’s sleep while feeling warm, clean, and comfortable. The agencies that work with Comfort Cases to distribute these items see firsthand the positive effects that they have.
"Comfort Cases have helped our children and teens to be able to feel so loved and comforted in this time of trauma, says Lisa Marie Hawkins (West Virginia Department of Social Services CPS, Oak Hill, WV). Having a warm blanket and fresh pajamas brings such a smile to their faces. You are truly a blessing to us here in West Virginia! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
