The Panpandiar School Promise Project offers a rare opportunity to create lasting, generational impact in a community that has endured years of war, displacement, and underdevelopment and yet remains filled with resilience and hope. Our goal is to help children in Panpandiar, South Sudan, where access to clean water, food, and education is critically limited. The first phase is to install a clean water well which will eliminate waterborne illness and reduce dropout rates.
The challenge in Panpandiar that South Sudan Hope Network (SSHN) is working to solve is the urgent lack of access to the most basic human needs:clean water, food, and education,especially for children and girls. The PSPP is a 3 Pillar project that targets lack of clean water, food insecurity and barriers for girls and young women.
This project tackles these interconnected challenges head-on with: 1. A solar-powered well to bring clean, safe, local water to the Panpandiar school and surrounding community. 2. A school nutrition program offering daily meals to support learning and improve attendance. 3. Empowerment and health kits for girls-supporting hygiene, dignity, and long-term education.
