Moving forward despite the circumstances

Dear kind donors,

How are you? I hope this email finds you all safe and healthy.

I have finally completed collecting all the data and information that I need from the corporations who have been the subject of my final paper. Last month was supposed to be my final consultation session with my academic advisor. Sadly, it had to be postponed until future notice as she was infected by the Covid-19 virus and had to stay at home until she recovers. As you may have seen on the news, Indonesia is currently the country with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the world. The Government has launched an emergency imposition of restrictions on community activities until next month. I hope that this will help to reduce the number of cases, and I also hope that my advisor will recover soon.

I still do most of my office work at home and my children also continue to learn from home. Schools have closed since last March 2020 and have not been open since. I am grateful though that all of my children have passed their final exams and are continuing to a higher grade.

Thank you very much for your support. I pray that every one of us will continue to be safe and healthy. May this storm pass soon.

Take care.

Paridi
