PDC aims to support the unprivileged people of Jessore City in Bangladesh as the pandemic affected them extremely. The Project will provide them awareness, protection materials and equipment for being protected from the corona virus like masks, hand gloves, hand sanitizer as well as Oxygen support for treatment. In addition, food and financial supports will be provided. Personal protection equipment will be provided to doctors, nurses and health personnel for facilitating treatment services.
Jashore city of Bangladesh is most COVID-19 affected area along with rest of the country and increasing day by day. Awareness, protection materials and equipment like masks, hand gloves, hand sanitizer and Oxygen supply in the hospitals are not available as needed. Moreover, doctors and health personnel are not getting required number of personal protection equipment. Vulnerable communities are severely affected by loss of jobs, incomes and opportunities that resulted food and commodity crisis.
PDC will provide information on awareness to protect COVID-19 to vulnerable population. Protection materials will be distributed among them like masks, hand gloves, hand sanitizer. Oxygen cylinders will be provided to hospitals for ensuring Oxygen supply for patients as needed. Doctors and health personnel will be trained on self-protection and caring patients and will also get PPE. Families of Vulnerable communities will get nutrition food package and cash money to buy essential commodities.
Awareness will be raised on protection against COVID-19 transmission and at the same time using the protection materials that supplied to vulnerable peoples will reduce the transmission of COVID-19 virous in the community. Having Oxygen in hospitals in time will save the lives. Having training and PPE will boost up the courage and encourage the Doctors and health personnel for treatment and care the patients. Providing nutrition food will increase immunity and wellbeing of vulnerable peoples.
