We offer organ donation and transplantation training for 1 healthcare professional and 2 weeks internship in a Spanish reference centre. This training will allow a team of professionals to learn more about this topic and start implementing it in Philippines. This will improve Philippines' quality of life.
Philippines is home to 109.6 million people whose life expectancy at birth is 71.2 years. There are currently 32077 patients receiving dialysis in the country. In 2021, only 6 organ transplants were performed.
DTI Foundation will provide training to a healthcare professional who is willing to promote organ donation and transplantation practices through his/her team. A full TPM Advanced course which will include a 2 weeks internship in a Spanish reference centre. This will benefit the healthcare professional taught, their hospital and team and the local community.
