Physiotherapy as a medical wing helps in improving the quality of life of people. It is helpful for people of all age groups with varied health issues.
Sparshaguna physiotherapy services try to reach people with difficulties and especially the abandoned ones or the less privileged ones. We help people improve their mobility, get more efficient in doing their daily activities, reduce pain, prevent complications, counselling etc.
We treat people having various orthopaedic, and neurological problems like back pain, arthritis, spondylosis, frozen shoulder, postural syndrome, stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury etc. We also treat paediatric cases of cerebral palsy, spina bifida, delayed milestones etc.
Under the Sparsaguna program, physiotherapy camps are organised in rural areas and in urban Bangalore at intervals. We extend our helping hand at Summanahalli where we work with Leprosy, Charcot's disease, elephantiasis, venous and other chronic ulcers. Apart from all this, we treat a good number of cases at our centre. Through our rural and urban camps, we have touched more than 120 lives with very severe disabilities with our physiotherapy treatment and a few assistive devices where required. At Summanahalli we have helped around 80 inpatients with their rehabilitation and prevention of deformities.
