Communities living closest to forests are also those facing the greatest risks from climate change.
In rural Indonesia, floods, landslides, and prolonged droughts threaten homes, farmland, and livelihoods. These communities are on the frontline of climate change, yet they are also the first to take action to protect their environment—if they are supported.
Through this community-led reforestation initiative, local residents work together to restore forests that:
Standing with these communities means more than planting trees—it means restoring dignity, resilience, and hope.
Stand with communities protecting the forests we all depend on.
