Porridge to IDP malnourrished children in RDCongo

Two interventions towards children and IDPs in Maluku, Kinshasa- DRC

According to the United Nations, the Democratic is placed 5^th in the world among countries with the highest number of Internally Displaced Persons (PDI), with estimated 8 million IDPs who are living in total destitution. Among them only less than 10% have access to humanitarian relief aid, yet the mostly affected are children and women.

We have continued our work which we started two years back, to help the world and our audience to know about the most forgotten IDPs, those who are not exposed to a Camera, those in far remote areas in order to bring their situation to the public.

Our various interventions in Maluku which we started this year in April seems to bring positive results, now other organizations are getting involved and have come up with some projects focusing on these IDPs. We do not only show people who they did not know, but we also mobilize relief aid to help the most affected communities.

Recently we moved to Inkwe Village in Maluku where we helped those in need through resources mobilized among ourselves. The biggest challenge we have now, is the lack of funding which highly affect our interventions as we would have made it. And as we continue we are now getting alert messages of people in difficult situation who need our help.
