We have requests from many schools currently suffering from no water supply. Schools like Ruhita Secondary. The 205 students currently have to collect water from a muddy pond 1.5km from the school as seen here.
Not only does this waste hours spent carrying heavy water each day, reducing their studying time; it puts them at great risk of water borne diseases. It also affects student attendance and motivation.
Therefore we are raising money so that schools like Ruhita can have access to a rope pump on site.
