Thank to generous donations from people like you we have funded a borehole and rope pump to bring water to the clinic and primary school at Kanazi, benefitting over 19,000 people.
It costs only £1500 to build this, but saves so many people hours of time and discomfort carrying water long distances from the stream.
It seems crazy that in 2023 people are still lacking access to water, especially in clinics and schools, but unfortunately in rural Tanzania it is still very common and we have many more sites desperately needing water, so if you can help us bring water to more such sites it would be very much appreciated.
One example is Changalawe Village in Uvinza where over 3000 people currently carry water from a dirty stream. We have surveyed and identified a suitable location for a borehole, and will complete it as soon as we have the funds.
Thank you again for your generosity.
