Hands of Mercy is a charitable organization whose major objective is to give care and support to vulnerable senior citizens and their orphaned grand children. These families live under a dollar per day. It is why we require a peanut butter making machine. This machine will help produce 50 cases of peanut butter a day and sell it. This will have an impact on our beneficiaries because each home will have the commodity for sale, thereby reducing the levels of lacking food time to time.........
Hands of Mercy is a charitable organization whose major objective is to give care and support to vulnerable senior citizens and their orphaned grand children in George Compound in Lusaka, Zambia. PROB LEM STATEMENT There is high poverty levels in the community. The families live on under $1 per day or nothing at all. This has caused alcohol and drug abuse among the youths and elderly, causing mental health and other serious illnesses.
This problem can be solved by buying our beneficiaries a peanut butter making machine and a shelling machine. The machines will empower the youths in that they will produce the peanut butter and sell it. This will help families to put food on the table. The land will be used for farming and rearing animals.
This will have a long term impact because the alcohol and drug abuse will begin to lessen and also problems associated with Mental Health........ In time, another peanut butter making machine will bought and some animals bought for the land.
