Elite Star Foundation’s project, Prenatal Care for 350 Pregnant Women in Borno, is focused on improving access to essential maternal healthcare for vulnerable pregnant women in conflict-affected communities. The project aims to support 350 women through antenatal checkups, basic medical screenings, nutritional supplements, maternal health education, and referrals for pregnancy-related complications.
The project has a total funding target of $20,300, and $11 has been received from one donor, representing an initial contribution toward the project’s financial goal. This leaves an outstanding balance of $20,289, meaning approximately 0.05% of the required funding has been secured so far.
At this stage, the funds raised remain limited compared with the resources required to deliver the planned services to 350 pregnant women. Consequently, full implementation of the project activities cannot yet be confirmed. The financial position highlights the importance of carefully tracking contributions and ensuring that available resources are directed toward the project’s intended maternal healthcare objectives.
Elite Star Foundation remains committed to the project’s mission of promoting safer pregnancies and healthier births in Borno State. As funding progresses and implementation advances, subsequent reports will provide updates on financial receipts, expenditure, activities undertaken, and the number of women reached.
