COVID-19 Impacts GRACE Families

By Angie Sullivan | Cofounder, Project Leader

GRACE supports approximately ninety families in Thailand. Most of the parents work in the tourism industry. The travel bans imposed due to the COVID-19 global pandemic has greatly impacted the lives of most all of our families. With soaring unemployment, lack in governmental stipend relief, curfews and shut-downs, our families have no reserve in which to tap for essential funds.

GRACE supporters, like yourself, are making a difference from a distance. Your financial support is ensuring families receive nutritional and wellness support. Families receive rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, oyster sauce and soy sauce. Each person receives dental hygiene and personal hygiene supplies.

Our family resource centers have been closed due to the curfews and social distancing requirements. Nevertheless, our staff are taking safety precautions and providing scheduled times for families to receive supplies. The impact is great.

Thank you for helping in such a critical time. The need is great. Your financial support is ensuring hope and making a difference.
