Celebrating the School Year Completion

By Angie Sullivan | Cofounder, Project Leader

Nutritional snack time generates lots of smiles.
Nutritional snack time generates lots of smiles.

The children of GRACE are celebrating the end of an extended school year. What an impact the pandemic had on everyone's schedules. The school year, typically mid-May through mid-March, began in June, adjusted through a couple of shut-downs, and finished last week. Now, it's time to celebrate!!

Parents and guardians are sharing their child's scores and gaining hope the children will succeed in whatever they set their mind to complete. Past are the hopeless expectations of simply desiring their child survives. Now, parents anticipate and encourage the children to dream, set goals, and attain their goals. The parents know the benefit of an after school program customized to each child's educational need. They understand the benefit of their child learning and comprehending the global business language of English. They witness their child growing in social and community skills. They appreciate the opportunities supporters, like you, continue to provide for their child. They celebrate having nutritional and wellness support which directly improves the health of their child. They applaud learning about the threats lurking online and welcome internet safety courses. They have a community focused to promote the overall wellbeing of their children.

You ensure these things and more with each donation. You enable transportation from school to the GRACE centers. You feed the hungry and alleviate hunger. You provide access to adequate health care. You matter. Thank you!!

Now, the children will take an abbreviated summer break during which time the GRACE centers are open for day camp. The children enjoy advanced classes, creative arts, and lots of fun activities each weekday while their parents are working. You ensure these children are not left alone. Your donations provide child protection and prevention from exploitation and potential trafficking predators. Yes, you matter!

Advocating with you for these,

Angie
