Yesterday was Children's day in Brazil - we hosted the neighborhood children and organized games, snacks and a movie showing of The Lion King.
Another one of our larger yearly events is the june festivity Festa Junina, which celebrates the beginning of planting season. Typically, people wear rural attire, play games and cook corn-related dishes and sweets. This year was no exception and the community center hosted it's own "arraiá" party. These events are fundamental for us to keep a close-knit relatinoship with the community.
Thank you for helping us keep being a center for local traditions and family life!
