School is out for winter break this week, so we are kickstarting our vacation program with a curriculum of English classes, arts and crafts and games for the children to have a recreational space while their families continue to work.
June is also the month of the Santo Antonio festivity "festa junina", a typical party that celebrates the end of harvest season. As every year, we will host our own community festa junina with typical games and foods! it is a great way for us to keep a relationship with the families of the children, and to maintain our community exchanging in healthy ways.
Over the year, we will also be hosting vaccination campaigns at the center and other health checkup events.
