By Johanna Barba | Sinal do Vale team
Last weekend, one of the Community Center's favorite events happened: a field visit to the campus of Sinal do Vale. Every year the kids visit SINAL and get a tour of the grounds, play games and learn about the Atlantic Rainforest and everyone's favorite activity: the kids get to enjoy the sunshine and have a splash in the pool!
This year, we had a full day planting trees, painting, playing and swimming. Visits to SINAL are always an event to look forward to, as the Julio Otoni community is a very busy space with no greenery or nature, so having the chance to admire the beauty of the natural biome Rio is in, the Atlantic Rainforest, and having the space to listen to eh birds, run around and enjoy the pool is a very rare treat - we always make it a priority for our kids.
A big thank you to our donors who support this and other outings. Stay tuned for more stories!
