We are grateful for the opportunity to update you on the work you’ve made possible. With your incredible support, we have now distributed over 5.1 million meals since 2020 and more than 331,000 Love Sandwiches to those in need across Port Elizabeth, South Africa. These are not just numbers—they are lifelines, shared with dignity and compassion.
In our city, over 300,000 people go hungry every month, with children being the most vulnerable. Township play schools report toddlers being dropped off without food for the day, and school attendance continues to be affected as children are often too hungry to learn.
Every meal served is a moment made possible by you. Every child fed, every caregiver relieved, every sandwich packed is a testament to your kindness and solidarity. We are humbled by your trust in us and inspired by the change we’re creating together.
