PROJECT HUNGER: FIGHTING HUNGER, RESTORING HOPE

By Tracey Watson | Project Coordinator

Hunger remains one of the most urgent and growing challenges in our city, driven by extremely high unemployment and increasing pressure on already vulnerable families.

Through Project Hunger, we are now reaching approximately 42,000 people every month with consistent food support. For many, this is not simply assistance. It is a lifeline. It is the difference between eating and going without, between dignity and desperation.

The need continues to rise. More families are turning to us each month, relying on this support to survive. This growing demand brings an ongoing challenge as we work to keep up, knowing that behind every number is a person, a child, a family facing real hardship.

And yet, the impact is undeniable. We see it in the gratitude of those we serve, in the relief of a parent able to feed their child, and in communities that feel seen, supported, and not forgotten.

This work is only possible because of you. Your support stands between a family and an empty plate. It allows us to respond with consistency, compassion, and dignity in the face of overwhelming need.

LOOKING AHEAD

We are determined to grow our capacity and reach even more people in need.

No family in our city should go hungry. With your continued partnership, we will keep expanding this vital work, ensuring that more families have access to the food they depend on and the hope they deserve.
