The project “Promote Rural Education in Southern Mozambique,” carried out by Fundación Mozambique Sur through the GlobalGiving platform, continues to make strong and positive progress. The main goal of this initiative is to improve access to quality education in rural areas of southern Mozambique while creating more opportunities for children and young people to study and grow.
Throughtout the project, there has been a noticeable increase in community participation, especially among women. Local women now play a more active role in decision-making and in organizing educational activities, which has strengthened both the project's impact and its connection to teh community. Their involvement has brought new perspectives and greater focus on the needs of families and childen.
Overall, the project is going very well. We continue to look for new and better ways to support students and teachers, whether by providing materials, expanding training programs, or developing community-led initiatives. Fundación Mozambique Sur remains committed to improving rural education and promoting equal opportunities for everyone involved.
