In May we had the visit of Melani from Days for Girls. Melani is based in South Africa and she came to visit the association Actions pour les Besoins des Femmes (ABF) which is producing the protection kits we are delivering in Burkina Faso.
Her trip was a control over the quality of ABF work and also training on some technics helping an easier production.
During her stay, we conducted 2 awareness meeting over menstruations. One was held at the boarding school LAP were 150 girls are following their studies and a second one in a private technical school where about 120 girls followed the lecture.
The distribution of protection kits for menstruation is going well. So far we have distributed over 7.000 kits in 2023.

We hope that you will keep helping the girls/ women of Burkina to have proper protection for their menstruation.
