Jose Inocencio keeps walking!

By United for Colombia | Team

Jose Inocencio
Jose Inocencio

Remember Jose Inocencio? The boy who lost both legs due to a landmine accident when he was only 12 years old? He is now 15 years old, and he is full of energy and enthusiasm. He adapted really well to his state-of-the-art prostheses, and integrated back into his life satisfactorily. He is going to school, playing soccer with his friend, and dreaming for a brighter future filled of happiness.

Recently, Jose Inocencio traveled to Bogota for his sockets refitting. He requires yearly prosthetic adjustments and change of sockets which will guarantee his mobility. He is growing fast and healthy, and he needs to have prostheses made more often as he grows.

Children and youngsters require prosthetic maintenance every year, depending on the wear and tear. Adjustments and maintenances of the prostheses is a life time need. With your support we can help them keep succeeding.

Thanks for your continuous support.

Sincerely,

United for Colombia
