Dear Supporter,
Thanks to your incredible generosity, another life is being transformed at the Syrian Foundation for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation (NSPPL).
This week, we welcomed an 8-year-old girl facing multiple orthopedic challenges. She was struggling with foot drop, severe heel deviation, and deformities in the foot arch—conditions that significantly affected her gait, balance, and daily activities.
After a thorough clinical and technical assessment, our team custom-designed an Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) to help reposition her foot, stabilize her ankle joint, and improve her walking efficiency. The AFO will also correct lateral deviations and enhance her mobility over time.
Wearing this device consistently, as advised by our specialists, is essential to achieving long-term corrective results. Every step she takes now is one step closer to regaining balance, confidence, and independence.
Stories like this are made possible by people like you. Your continued support empowers children to move more freely and live more fully.
With gratitude
