Dear Partners,
For many adolescents in Nigeria, HIV prevention is not simply a matter of choice—it is a matter of access. Barriers such as poverty, stigma, limited healthcare infrastructure, misinformation, and lack of youth-friendly services continue to prevent many young people from accessing life-saving HIV prevention options.
At Empower Future Initiative (EFI), we are working to address these barriers by promoting awareness and future access to innovative HIV prevention solutions like Lenacapavir. Long-acting HIV prevention offers a promising alternative to daily medication, helping young people overcome adherence challenges while maintaining protection.
Our vision is to create communities where adolescents can access prevention services without fear of judgment or discrimination. Through community engagement, education, and partnerships, we aim to build trust and improve understanding of HIV prevention.
We are grateful to our supporters who have already helped us begin this journey. However, reaching more communities and preparing for future implementation will require greater support.
Every donation helps break barriers and bring HIV prevention closer to vulnerable adolescents who need it most.
